Multan Sultans beat Lahore Qalandar by seven wickets to register their first win of PSL 6 at the National Stadium in Karachi in Pakistan on Friday.
A 35-ball 60, powered by five 6s and three 4s, by Mohammad Hafeez proppelled the Qalandars to 157 for 6 in their 20 overs. England international Joe Denly was the second highest scorer with 31.
As has been the trend in PSL 6, Sultans too chased down the target comfortably to post a seven-wicket win. Skipper Mohammad Rizwan blasted 76 off 49 balls and Sohaid Maqsood supported him with a half century, 61 off 41 balls, as Sultans won with 22 balls to spare.
