Rajasthan Royals boosted their campaign after a seven-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday. This was also their second consecutive win. There were a lot of good moments in this match which included Shreyas Gopal's 'wrong'un' which completely bamboozled the SRH skipper Kane Williamson, Sanju Samson's outstanding work behind the stumps and Jaydev Unadkat's spectacular catch of his own bowling. Apart from these moments, there was another moment that stood out. It involved the two Aussie stars, Steve Smith and David Warner.

The event happened in the 13th over of the Rajasthan innings which was bowled by Oshane Thomas. Thomas bowled a simple and straight delivery as Warner charged down the wicket and slogged at it. However, he did not time his shot properly as the ball went up in the air, and just when it appeared that it would end up in no man's land, Rajasthan Royals skipper covered some distance and took an outstanding diving catch. The West Indian speedster pumped his fist up in delight. Smith was in little discomfort as he was seen holding his elbow while celebrating with his team-mates. The former Australian skipper had undergone an elbow surgery earlier this year.

The video of Smith's excellent running catch was posted on Twitter. Watch it here.

This was a much-needed win for the Royals as they have now jumped to the sixth position in the points table. At the same time, they also avenged their reverse fixture loss against the 'Orange Army'.

They looked very comfortable during their run chase of 161 as openers Ajinkya Rahane and Liam Livingstone provided a solid platform by adding 78 runs for the first wicket. Young Sanju Samson (48*) then stitched in a 55-run stand with skipper Steve Smith (22). Samson's unbeaten knock helped the hosts reach the target with five balls to spare.

Earlier, Steve Smith won the toss and elected to bowl first. Post Williamson's dismissal, David Warner stitched in a 75-run stand with Manish Pandey, who anchored Hyderabad's innings. He played a superb knock of a 36-ball 61 at a strike rate of 169.44 which included nine boundaries. After Pandey was dismissed due to Sanju Samson's outstanding work behind the stumps, the SRH innings lost its momentum. In the end, Rashid Khan played an important cameo of an 8-ball 17 and the 'Orange Army' got to a decent total of 160/8 in their 20 overs.
