It was celebration time for Delhi Capitals after they had settled scores with Kings XI Punjab by an impressive five-wicket win at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Saturday. This was a much-needed win for Delhi heading into the business end of the tournament as it has helped in keeping their playoff hopes alive. While the players had their own way to celebrate the win even the kids did not back out from making the most of this occasion.

Shikhar Dhawan's son Zoravar decided to celebrate Delhi's victory in a unique manner. The Jr. Gabbar decided to emulate his father's on-field celebration which he pulled off in style. Giving him company was Emmy Charlotte who is the daughter of Delhi Capitals head coach and Australia's two-time World Cup winning captain Ricky Ponting. Emmy also tried to celebrate in Dhawan's signature style but she could not manage to pull it off like little Zoravar.

Shikhar Dhawan gave a good start to Delhi during their chase of 164. The swashbuckling southpaw scored a superb 41-ball 56 at a strike rate of 136.59 including seven boundaries and a maximum. After Prithvi Shaw's dismissal, the swashbuckling southpaw added 92 runs for the second wicket with skipper Shreyas Iyer. Iyer led from the front and anchored Delhi's innings to perfection by scoring an unbeaten 49-ball 58 at a strike rate of 118.37 which included five fours and a six. 

Earlier, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first. It turned out to be a good decision as the hosts got the wicket of in-form batsman KL Rahul very early and even Mayank Agarwal followed him soon. Chris Gayle anchored Punjab's innings. The 'Universe Boss' played an explosive knock of a 37-ball 69 at a strike rate of 186.89 including six boundaries and five maximums. His blistering knock helped the visitors get to a respectable total of 163/7 in their 20 overs.
