Mumbai Indians will be aiming for their record fourth IPL title when they square off against Chennai Super Kings in the final at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday. Mumbai have a 2-1 advantage over CSK in IPL finals. MI had lost their maiden final against MS Dhoni's side in 2010, but returned the favour back in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

Meanwhile, all of Mumbai's three triumphs have come under Rohit Sharma's leadership. Rohit has been one of IPL's most successful captains. In fact, he has won four IPL titles including the 2009 victory where he was associated with the now-defunct Deccan Chargers. Before preparing to take Mumbai to yet another triumph, the stylish skipper came forward to talk about how it all began for him when he was first handed over the captaincy back in 2013.

"When I got to know about captaining Mumbai Indians in 2013,  I knew that it was so tough and it was not going to be easy. ''

At the same time, the swashbuckling opener opened about the challenges of captaining Mumbai Indians.

"Captaining Mumbai has a different challenge. We have seen a lot of tough situations where most of the teams would have tended to just drift away, but this team stayed together when the times were tough. "

The 'Hitman' then revealed what kept them going even during tough situations.

"One good thing about MI is that there is a lot of encouragement whether we have lost the game or whether we have won the game. You need each other's support at the time and every time when you get into those phases of the tournament. So, I think I had that."

Rohit also said that it was not an easy journey and that it took a collective effort from everyone to win the tournament.

"It was not easy and we have seen that in the season that we have won the trophy, it was only with the support of my teammates, support staff and the owners. It was so eventful."
