Aaron Ramsey scored in his debut game for Juventus and the gamble of former Arsenal midfielder seems to be paying off. The 28-year-old, after recovering from the hamstring injury he picked up with Arsenal, has managed to showcase impressive performances in his first three games for the Italian Football Club. After being held at 2-2 against Atletico Madrid in their Champion league opener, Juventus will host Bayer Leverkusen in their Group D clash in Turin. "Three wins out of three in Serie A this week. Onto the Champions League Tuesday," Ramsey tweeted.

Aaron Ramsey happy for goal and victory

The Welsh international signed a four-year contract with Juventus earlier this year in a free transfer reported being worth $515,000 per week. After scoring in his first game for last season’s Serie A champions, Ramsey said that he was happy for the goal and the victory.

"I've waited a long time for this moment, I'm really happy, both for the victory and for the goal," said Ramsey. “It was important after the Madrid game,” he added.

In the game against Atletico Madrid, Ramsey came as a late substitute.

Sarri gives more space to Ramsey

Currently, Juventus are two points behind Inter Milan in Series A as they were unable to score against Fiorentina. The new coach Maurizio Sarri has started giving more space to Ramsey who has played for more than an hour in each game on an average. "We're trying to preserve him from the point of view of playing time," said Sarri. "There's a big difference between playing 60 and 90 minutes," he added.

Ramsey in a star-studded midfield

Winger Douglas Costa's injury has allowed Sarri to make more use of Ramsey in a star-studded midfield. In 11 years of his career, Ramsey has won three FA Cups.

"When I knew that Juventus were interested, I couldn't refuse," said Ramsey about his move despite uncertainties. "It's a great club, one of the biggest in the world, and to have the opportunity to come here and play for them is a dream,” he added.
