After allegations of abuse across the league, NWSL board ousts commissioner

NWSL commissioner Lisa Baird and general counsel Lisa Levine have been removed from their roles according to reports.
The Athletic was first to report that the league's board had ousted the pair from their leadership roles.

It comes after FIFA and US Soccer both announced investigations intoclaims by two former players of sexual coercion against Paul Riley led to the North Carolina Courage coach being fired Thursday.

FIFA told The Associated Press it was “deeply concerned” by the case and will now be seeking further details from American soccer authorities about the issues raised.

Earlier in the day the National Women’s Soccer League called off all of this weekend's games.
