Bayern Munich took another step towards an eighth consecutive German Bundesliga title after beating hosts Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 on Saturday.

Robert Lewandowski scoring Bayern's fourth to reach 44 goals in all competitions this season - a personal best for the Poland international.

Lewandowski's header was set up by Thomas Muller, who racked up his 20th assist of the season and broke Kevin de Bruyne's record for most goals created in a single German Bundesliga campaign.

Second half Leverkusen substitute Florian Wirtz also became a record breaker, notching the final goal of the game and, at the age of 17 years and 34 days, becoming the youngest scorer in Bundesliga history.
