Busquets tests positive for covid ahead of start of Euro 2020

The Spanish Football Federation confirmed on Sunday evening that midfielder Sergio Busquets had tested positive for coronavirus just eight days before the start of their Euro 2020 campaign.

Busquets' PCR test returned the positive while the rest of Luis Enrique's squad had negative results at their training headquarters in Las Rozas.

Busquets will now isolate away from his team-mates while Tuesday's final friendly against Lithuania will now feature players from Spain Under-21 squad as a precaution.
