Tottenham Hotspur will be travelling to Colchester for a Carabao Cup match on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to compensate for the loss against Leicester City in the Premier League. Spurs will be looking for an easy win as they can advance to the next round. With a tight schedule of matches, Pochettino will probably rest few of his players, giving the young players in the squad an opportunity.

Carabao Cup: How and where to watch

The Carabao Cup will not be easily accessible on Indian television. JioTV will help you in watching the game. Viacom18 and JioTV are the official broadcasters in India. Watching on television is not an option for the fans as Carabao Cup fixtures are not on the list. In the past, the semi-finals and the final have been broadcast on Vh1 and MTV. The Carabao Cup tie will be live at 12:15 am IST.

Carabao Cup: About Colchester and Tottenham

In the last clash, Spurs lost to Leicester City in Premier League, after their main forward, Harry Kane had given them a 0-1 lead going into half time. Pochettino admitted that the team will be a mix blend of young and experienced players, and it may be the perfect opportunity to play 17-year-old Troy Parrott, who has been impressive in the youth team and on the international stage. According to reports, Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is likely to be given more time off, following the birth of his child and Paulo Gazzaniga will play instead.

Colchester are currently tenth in the League Two table. They have reached this far by defeating Premier League club Crystal Palace at home, via a penalty shootout. They lost their leading scorer, Sammie Szmodics, to Bristol City this summer and they are captained by Luke Prosser, who came up through Tottenham’s academy.
