Champions League: Lampard's young Blues produced a thrilling comeback at the Stamford Bridge after being 4-1 down in the 55th minute to 4-4 by the 75th minute.

Ajax led 4-1 in the 55th minute in London against a youthful Chelsea side only to concede three goals in the second half in a thrilling 4-4 draw. After having both their centre-backs sent off within a space of two minutes, Ajax couldn't stop the Chelsea attack. The Dutch side lost at home to Chelsea in the reverse fixture and completely fell apart in the second half on Tuesday night. As for Chelsea, Frank Lampard's men had the will the fight and boy did they fight well.

Champions League: Chelsea vs Ajax match report
Eight goals, two more disallowed and a pair of red cards were the many highlights from the Champions League Group H meeting between Chelsea and Ajax on Tuesday night. The scoreline was 1-1 after just five minutes as Tammy Abraham turned into his own net before Jorginho levelled for the home side from the spot. Quincy Promes put the visitors ahead once again in the 20th minute which was followed by a comical own goal by Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to finish the first half at 3-1 to Ajax.

The second half was much more of an entertaining affair where after being 4-1 down, the home side rallied to get the game back to level. Chelsea's cause was made easier as Ajax centre-back pairing of Daley Blind and Joel Veltman saw red in a space of two minutes. Youngster Reece James became the youngest ever scorer in the Champions League for Chelsea when he scored the equaliser in the 74th minute. Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta appeared to have won the game for Chelsea but his effort from close range was ruled out by VAR.
