Consadole Sapporo head into Saturday's J.League fixture against Yokohama F.Marinos knowing a win would effectively put Kawasaki Frontale within touching distance of the league title.

F.Marinos are second in the standings but are 12 points behind leaders Frontale with a game in hand.

Should Consadole win, Frontale could effectively wrap up the championship by 3rd November.

The fixture will see Thailand internationals Chanathip Songkrasin (Consadole) and Teerathon Bunmathan (F.Marinos) facing each other in a clash that has been labelled as the "Thai Derby."

Chanathip has endured a frustrating season beset by injuries and would hope this fixture will help to regain his match fitness for the remaining seven matches.
