A day before the restart of the season, J.League champions Yokohama F・Marinos head coach Ange Postecoglou said his team is "excited starting again".

Marinos conducted a training session on Friday in preparation for the Saturday's match when the top flight J1 will restart after shutting down in February due to the coronavirus.

In just his second season in charge of Marinos, Postecoglou guided Marinos to their first J.League title in 15 years and is now focusing on winning the title two years in a row.

J.League will resume its first division on Saturday following a roughly four-month stoppage and the Marinos will face the Urawa Reds at Saitama Stadium.
