Kerala Blasters will enter the competition with great confidence as they managed to grab the season opener. Kerala's new signing Bartholomew Ogbeche was ranked very high before the season started and he stood up to everyone's expectation as he bagged a brace in the first match to hand his side the win. Kerala Blasters are expected to use the same starting XI from the ATK game. Mumbai City FC experienced a decent form last season as they reached the semi-finals where they lost to FC Goa. Jorge Costa guided the Mumbai-based team well last season and he has been retained by the club this season as well. Arnold Issoko and Lucian Goian, who were the main men for Mumbai last season, left the club this season.
