Barcelona will be hosting Sevilla at Camp Nou as they aim for a third straight win in LaLiga on Monday, October 7, 2019. Barcelona stumbled in the early stages of LaLiga this season but they are still in the fourth position with 13 points. They are just two points behind the table leaders Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Sevilla sit sixth with same points as Barcelona. Both teams- Barcelona and Sevilla will be looking to reduce the points gap with the table leaders.
Sevilla edged past Real Sociedad 3-2 at home in their previous clash in LaLiga. Nolito, Lucas Ocampos and Franco Vazquez scored a goal each for Sevilla. On the other hand, a 10-man Barcelona had a 2-0 away win against Getafe CF. Luis Suarez and Junior Firpo scored a goal each for the Catalan giants.
Barcelona are still facing a problem with central defender Samuel Umtiti being out of action due to foot injury. Also, Clement Lenglet will miss the match as he was presented a red card in the previous clash against Getafe. So Jean-Clair Todibo is likely to be in the defence alongside Gerard Pique in the starting 11.
As for Sevilla, their manager Lopetegui will have one injury concern as Daniel Carrico is expected to miss the action. As a result, Jules Kounde should form the defence alongside Jules Kounde. Also, Joan Jordan could feature in the starting 11.
