Unai Emery's struggle to find a win continued when Arsenal travelled to the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques Stadium to play their Europa League 2019-20 match against Vitória S.C. Emery named a relatively weaker squad against the Portuguese-side with players like Aubameyang, Lacazette and David Luiz missing from the starting XI. Shkodran Mustafi scored the opener of the match at the 80th minute, which was the only shot on target by Arsenal in the entire 90 minutes. Bruno Duarte scored an equaliser in injury time to end the match in a stalemate. However, Arsenal top in Group F with 10 points in 4 games (W3 D1) and Vitória S.C. are at the bottom with just one point in four games so far (L3 D1).
