European Championship venue preview: Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville

Spanish city, Seville, replaced Bilbao as one of the Euro 2020 venues amid the coronavirus pandemic and it intends to use 30% of the 60,000 seats at Estadio de La Cartuja.

Spanish city, Seville, replaced Bilbao as one of the Euro 2020 venues amid the coronavirus pandemic and it intends to use 30% of the 60,000 seats at Estadio de La Cartuja.

La Cartuja is the sixth largest stadium in Spain although neither local side, neither Real Betis nor Sevilla FC, play here as both have their own ground.

Three-time world champions, Spain, will play their Group E games at the stadium against Sweden on 14th June, Poland on 19th June and Slovakia four days later.

The winner of Group B will also play in Sevilla in the round of 16 on 27th June.

Monday 14th June 2021 - Group E: Spain vs Sweden (21:00, local time)

Saturday 19th June 2021 - Group E: Spain vs Poland (21:00, local time)

Wednesday 23rd June 2021 - Group E: Slovakia vs Spain (18:00, local time)

Sunday 27th June 2021 - R16: 1B vs 3A/D/E/F (21:00, local time)
