The list for the 2019 Football European Golden Boy Award has been announced. Joao Felix and Matthijs de Ligt are in the list of names that have been picked. All players who are aged 21 and below are eligible for being selected. Matthijs de Ligt, the previous year’s winner, has been nominated once again. However, 2017 recipient and France's World Cup 2018 winner Kylian Mbappe was the surprise omission from this year’s list.
