According to reports in Spain, Paris Saint-Germain are planning a move to sign the Barcelona striker Antoine Griezmann if they lose Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid. Recent reports suggest that there have been strong rumours of Mbappe joining the Spain giants and the return of Zidane makes it more plausible now. Kylian Mbappe’s contract will expire on June 2022 but PSG are already preparing a back-up option for the 20-year-old. The Barcelona striker looks like the best option for PSG as he has struggled to find form in Catalonia since he forced his move from Atletico Madrid. According to Marca, PSG are closely monitoring Griezmann's situation as the PSG youngster has not renewed his contract with the French club yet.

The Kylian Mbappe saga continues

The speculations began when Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane stated in an interview that Mbappe has expressed that it’s his dream to play for Real Madrid. However, PSG's sporting director Leonardo didn’t take Zidane’s comment very well. He reportedly asked Zidane to stop making such claims about their star player by stating that it’s 'irritating and annoying'. Leonardo said that Mbappe has two and a half years left on his contract. Zidane, on the other hand, refused to back down and claimed that Mbappe himself told him that it was his dream to wear the white jersey one day.
