ISL 2019-20: Hyderabad FC gear up for domestic league debut

After the dissolvement of ISL club - FC Pune City, Hyderbad FC have been announced as the newest franchise in the league. Here are Hyderabad FC's squad details.

Due to financial discrepancies, FC Pune City will no longer be a part of the Indian Super League (ISL) which is set to enter its sixth edition on October 20. Instead, a new franchise which will be based in Hyderabad has been added to the list of existing clubs within the Indian Super League. The franchise will be called - Hyderabad FC and is owned by Hyderabad based businessman - Vijay Madduri and Varun Tripuraneni, who is the former CEO of Kerala Blasters. ISL: Hyderabad FC gear up for a tough debut in the Indian Super League

Hyderabad FC were brought into existence on August 27, 2019, and will debut in the upcoming ISL 2019-20 season. The Hyderabad-based franchise will be coached by a well-known name in English football - Phil Brown. They have roped in former FC Pune City and Indian national team players - Adil Khan and Nikhil Poojary. Their marquee signing will be Jamaican international Giles Barnes. The forward began his career with an impressive stint with Derby County in England where he was named as the club's Young Player of the Year in 2007 and was also adjudged as Championship Player of the Month in March 2007.
