As for Mourinho, he is reportedly interested in replacing under-fire coach Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur. Pochettino took over at Tottenham in May 2014 from Southampton and has overseen a largely successful period in North London. Mourinho, who has been the manager of Chelsea twice between 2004-07 and 2013-15 and of United between 2016-18 has had relative success in England winning the Premier League twice with Chelsea and the Europa League with the Red Devils among other domestic cups with both the clubs. He also has an impressive Resume in Europe; having won a treble with Inter in 2010 and winning the league title in Spain with Real Madrid. However, Tottenham may propose a different challenge altogether with comparatively less available transfer funds and an altogether different footballing philosophy to what Pochettino has developed in at Tottenham.
