La Liga gives 'Desi' tribute to Eden Hazard, netizens react on Twitter

The La Liga, also known as the Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Primera División, posted a "Boht Ha(za)rd" picture for Real Madrid's striker Eden Hazard on October 8 on Twitter. The football division gave a 'Desi tribute' to Hazard. The Gully boy reference of the La Liga has been appreciated and has flooded Twitter with it. In the tweet, they posted a picture of Eden Hazard with 'Boht Ha(za)rd' written. 'Bahut Hard' was used in the Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Gully Boy' to express 'Indian Hip-Hop culture'. According to reports, Hazard scored his first goal for the club on Saturday in the side's La Liga match against Granada. La Liga captioned the post as "Apna time Aayega AAGAYA". 'Apna Time Aayega' was a chartbuster song from the same movie. The La Liga is the men's top professional football division of the Spanish football league system.

Reacting to the Gully Boy reference tweet, several people on Twitter have reacted to the post. While some are blown away by La Liga tweeting the movie's lyrics, some are speculating if Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has taken over the account.

Farhan Akhtar's reaction

Gully Boy's producer Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar reacted to La Linga's tribute on Wednesday. Akhar wrote the caption "Bohot Hard", to which La Linga responded with "Satyavachan". The movie 'Gully Boy' starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt received India's official entry for the Academy Awards 2020. The movie is produced by Farhan Akhtar and directed by Zoya Akhtar.

About Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard is a Belgian footballer who plays for La Liga club Real Madrid and captains the Belgium national team. Recently, Real Madrid had agreed on a deal to sign Chelsea forward Eden Hazard for a five-year term on June 8 this year. According to reports, Hazard has joined the club for five seasons this year till 2024. Hazard has also netted 110 goals for the English club in 2012. During his seven seasons with Chelsea, they had won many tournaments including FA Cup and League cup.
