Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United trained on home soil on Wednesday, prior to flying out for the first leg of their Europa League last 16 tie at Austrian league leaders LASK. Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard both missed the session, along with long-term absentees Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.

United will go into the game in confident mood - they are unbeaten in 10 games, have climbed up to fifth in the Premier League table, and on Sunday they beat arch rivals Manchester City 2-0 at Old Trafford.

'The Red Devils' also have another reason for optimism - earlier this season, LASK made it to the play-off round of Champions League competition, only to be beaten 3-1 on aggregate by Club Brugge of Belgium.

United thrashed Brugge 6-1 on aggregate in the last round of the Europa League only last month.

Thursday's game will be played behind closed doors because of concerns over the spread over the COVID-19 virus.
