Moment: Ronaldo has message for critics after hat-trick

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 57th career first-half hat-trick as Juventus inflicted a 3-1 defeat on Cagliari in Serie A on Sunday. It was a perfect riposte to the criticism Ronaldo has faced this week for his part in Juve's shock UEFA Champions League exit to Porto. After he opened the scoring with a trademark header, the Portuguese superstar scored from the penalty spot for his second. Ronaldo then completed a golden half hour with a neat shimmy before blasting the ball into the top corner of the net.
