European champions Portugal have trained for the final time before they meet World champions France at Stade de France in Paris for their Nations League match on Sunday.

European champions Portugal have trained for the final time before they meet World champions France at Stade de France in Paris for their Nations League match on Sunday.

It will be the first match between the European nations since the Euro 2016 final when an extra-time winner from Eder gave Portugal the title.

Both nations won their two opening Nations League group matches last month but Fernando Santos' squad have the goal difference advantage (5 to 3).

Portugal had planned to travel north on Friday, but postponed their trip after goalkeeper Anthony Lopes tested positive for Covid-19.

It is the second case in Portugal's squad, as defender Jose Fonte was wihdrawn ahead of their friendly against Spain on Wednesday.
