Muriel, brother of Liverpool's Alisson, leads Fluminense to Rio State League final

Fluminense goalkeeper Muriel helped his side to delay who will be crowned Rio State Champions by defending two penalties at the historic derby against Flamengo.

Both sides were playing the Rio Cup final, the tournament's 2nd stage. Flamengo would be crowned champions with a victory due to the higher seeding throughout the tournament, but the match ended up 1-1, leading to a penalty shootout.

The older brother of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson proved that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and saved two penalties, from Willian Arao and Rafinha. The Fla-Flu derby will be played two more times to decide who will be the champions.
