ON THIS DAY: Hazard to Real Madrid deal agreed by Chelsea

On 6th June 2019, Spanish giants Real Madrid agreed to sign Belgium international Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

Chelsea confirmed the deal on twitter, without saying the fee.

The 28-year-old playmaker, who has a year left on his Chelsea contract, last week helped the London club win the UEFA Europa League final in Baku, Azerbaijan.

He has signed a five year deal.
