Everton and Tottenham shared the spoils in their Matchday 11 clash of Premier League 2019-20. The game ended in a 1-1 draw as Delle Alli's 63' strike was cancelled out by Cenk Tosun's injury-time goal (90+7'). However, the talking point of the game was Andre Gomes' horrendous injury which could see the midfielder stay out for over 8 months. Tottenham's Son Heung-min fouled Andre Gomes from behind as the Portuguese collided with Serge Aurier. Andre Gomes looked in deep pain as he was rolling on the ground with his ankle twisted to the right. Son was left in tears after he saw the injury which was a result of his challenge. The South Korean was shown the red card after the incident as Andre Gomes was taken off the pitch on a stretcher in the 79th minute.
