Manchester City's Belgian midfielder - Kevin De Bruyne - has been in incredible form this season as he recorded his eighth assist in Manchester City’s 1-3 win against Everton on Saturday in the Premier League. He set up a perfect cross as Gabriel Jesus easily headed it in to put defending Premier League champions 0-1 up in the first half. Kevin De Bruyne missed half of the games last season due to an injury but still, Manchester City managed to win the Premier League title with 98 points. Manchester City’s key player created a record 105 chances for his team in their 2017-18 campaign where they won the Premier League with 100 points.

Last season, De Bruyne's performance was restricted to a few matches as he was struggling with a knee injury. He has made a stunning start to this season by creating 27 chances for his club in seven matches. In their last clash against Everton, Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez scored in the second half, recording an important away win. Kevin De Bruyne (28) is dominating opponents in the Premier League.

Premier League: Pep Guardiola in awe of Kevin De Bruyne

Despite winning the Premier League title last season, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola claimed that he missed the midfielder in the Manchester City team. He saw last season as incredible, winning four titles but he still missed De Bruyne. He termed him as a 'special player', talking to the British press after their 8-0 win against Watford last weekend. Manchester City will be facing Dinamo Zagreb for their second clash in UEFA Champions League at home on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.
