Klopp spoke to the official broadcaster of the competition following Liverpool’s hard-fought 2-1 win against Aston Villa on Saturday. Sadio Mane’s extra-time winner sealed a win for the Reds against Villa to maintain their unbeaten Premier League run, which dates back to January 2019. Klopp: Liverpool needs knocks

The celebrated manager believes that Liverpool must look to learn from their mistakes and continue to improve in order to win their first Premier League crown in 30 years, instead of focussing on remaining unbeaten. For that, Klopp candidly admits that the team needs to get knocks occasionally as a timely reminder. He played down any talk of Liverpool matching Arsenal's famous 'Invincibles' streak in 2002-03 after his side's late heroics against Aston Villa.
