Premier League: Throwback to when Liverpool defeated Spurs in the UCL final

Liverpool entered the UEFA Champions League finals as favorites against fellow Premier League rivals Tottenham. The Reds were arguably lucky to be handed a penalty in the very first minute of the final as a Sadio Mane ball hit Moussa Sissoko on his arm inside the box. Mohammed Salah stepped up to take the crucial set-piece and dispatched it straight into the net as Hugo Lloris dived to his left.

However, Spurs kept on pushing for an equaliser but failed to truly test Liverpool keeper - Allison Becker. The Brazilian seemed determined to keep the ball out of the net and neutralised any threat from the Spurs' attackers at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Divock Origi, who scored the crucial goal at Camp Nou in the semis, added another goal in the final minutes of the second half to seal the deal for Liverpool and secure their UEFA Champions League title.
