Spanish league giants, Real Madrid, on September 25 released the team sheet that features 19 names for the La Liga clash against Osasuna. Zinedine Zidane named his 19 member squad with a few players from the B team as defenders Marcelo and Ferland Mendy (groin strain) and midfielder Luka Modric were set to miss the match due to injuries.

A surprising omission

The most notable omission from the  squad was that of forward, Gareth Bale, who apparently was not suffering from any kind of injury and the manager has selected 18-year-old forward, Rodrygo Goes, to take the place of the former Tottenham player on the field. The attacking midfielder, Isco, is also a doubt for the upcoming match as he still has not recovered from a troubling hamstring injury.

A bright future

With the Real Madrid coach having being left with no experienced left-backs due to injury, he has turned towards B team, Castilla's Fran Garcia as the young player has been a regular part of the first-team training sessions during this season and with Mendy out until October, Zidane has included the 20-year-old in the squad.

Garcia is one of the most sought after members from the B team as he has been a part of the Spanish team at every level with the biggest achievement wherein he was an integral part in helping the under-17 team grab a second place at the European tournament in the year 2017.
