Real Madrid trained on Tuesday ahead of hosting Shakhtar Donetsk at the Santiago Bernabeu for another UEFA Champions League battle.

Carlo Ancelotti's men will be hoping to build on last month's 5-0 thrashing of the Ukrainian side in the reverse fixture.

Last season Shakhtar came out on top in both matches against Real in the Champions League group stages.

The 13-time European champions would climb to the top of Group D if they beat Shakhtar on Wednesday and if surprise group leaders Sheriff Tiraspol, who shocked Real 2-1 in September, drop points against Inter Milan.
