Brazilian football superstar Neymar has officially moved from PSG to Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal. His departure from the French club marks the end of a difficult six-year run that began with much excitement upon his arrival in Paris. The flashy forward is the latest big name to join the Saudi Arabian side after numerous European stars were attracted since Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January.

Neymar cleared all of his transfer rumours on Tuesday

This amount is most likely going to set a record for the league, which receives funding from the oil-rich state. The deal exemplifies the league's substantial investment in elite football talent as part of its extensive expenditure initiatives.
For how many years has Neymar signed a contract with Al-Hilal?
The Saudi Arabian outfit has offered a two-year contract offer to Neymar, with estimates placing his yearly compensation at around $100 million. The suggested payment is reportedly due to the high status of the 31-year-old Brazilian superstar. The fact that this sum is about half of 38-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo's stated wage is remarkable, though.

The Saudi Pro League giants are set to face Al-Feiha in their second league match this Saturday. This could be the first time Saudi Arabian fans can witness their new star player take on the field for the very first time in a new jersey. In the summer of 2017, Neymar broke the transfer record with a €222 million transfer price that sent him from Barcelona to PSG. Neymar's talent was on full display during his time with the Ligue 1 club, as he scored 118 goals in 173 games for the Parisian squad. He won five league titles during this time in Paris.
