Inter Milan host Lazio on Wednesday night at home in matchday five of Serie A 2019-20 season. Antonio Conte has made a perfect start to the season after winning all the matches so far. But the real test for Inter begins now as they have three back-to-back tough fixtures to face. The game will kick-off at 12:30 AM (IST) on Sony Entertainment Network and Sony Liv.

Inter Milan vs Lazio: Preview

Inter Milan have won five of the last ten matches between the two teams, whereas Lazio have managed to clinch four of them. Both the side won a game each when they met in Serie A last season. Inter bagged a 0-3 win at Stadio Olimpico but lost 0-1 at their home in the return leg in Milan. Inter Milan won their Copa Italia quarter-final game against Lazio last season. Conte's side is currently second in Seria A with four wins in four matches and have a chance to go above Juventus with a win in this match. Lazio are currently fifth in Serie A with seven points.

If Inter Milan win the clash against Lazio, it will be the 23rd time in Serie A history that a team has started the season with five wins from five games. This match will see two former Lazio players return to play against their former club. One is 32-year-old winger Antonio Candreva, who was signed by Lazio in the summer of 2013 but later moved to Inter in 2016. The second is 27-year-old central defender Stefan de Vrij, who played for Lazio for four years until his contract expired.
