Inter Milan will be looking to continue their impressive start to the 2019-20 Serie A season when they host Parma on Saturday night. The 18-time Italian champions have won seven of their eight league matches this season to sit second in the table, just one point off champions Juventus.

Inter Milan on a good run

Antonio Conte's side recorded a 4-3 win away in Sassuolo in their Serie A clash last weekend, while they will enter the match off the back of a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday night. Inter will again be without the services of on-loan Manchester United attacker Alexis Sanchez, who picked up an ankle injury while representing Chile earlier this month. Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku both scored twice in the win over Sassuolo last weekend and should continue at the tip of the attack, with Nicolo Barella featuring in a three-man midfield.

Parma are struggling

Parma will have to do without striker Andreas Cornelius for this weekend’s match away to Inter according to an Italian leading media daily's report. The Danish striker sustained an injury in training yesterday ahead of Saturday evening’s match at San Siro. He felt pain in his thigh and his condition will be assessed today by the Ducali’s medical staff. It is likely that he will be definitively ruled out for this weekend’s match and is also at risk of missing out their match at home to Hellas Verona on Tuesday night. The 26-year-old will be a big loss to Roberto D’Aversa’s side, with him having scored four goals in seven appearances across all competitions this season since he joined on loan from fellow Serie A club Atalanta.
