Already the youngest ever European diving champion at the age of 13 years and seven months, Oleksiy Sereda now has his sights set on Olympic gold in Tokyo.

The now 15-year-old sensation from Ukraine will be the youngest European diver at Tokyo.

Sereda specialises in the 10-metre platform event, not only claimed gold in the 2019 European Diving Championships but also won a silver medal with partner

Oleh Serbin in synchronised diving.

Juggling school work with a rigorous training programme can be hard, Sereda admits, but with youth and time on his side he's not putting too much pressure on himself to perform in Tokyo, saying he just hopes to put in "a good performance".

Despite his modesty, this young man has already made quite a splash and the world will most definitely be watching his progress in Tokyo.
