Is there a 'Change of Heart' for Vijender Singh as far as his political leanings and platforms are concerned?

It may well be too early to conclude that but there are enough indications that Vijender is open to rejoining politics at some stage but under a different banner.

Many still believe that given his enormous personal charisma & popularity which earned him over one lakh votes in the just-concluded Lok Sabha elections, he could have fared much better had he contested under a different banner.

When Republic TV asked Vijender about rejoining politics after his impressive election show in Lok Sabha earlier this year, Vijender made it quite clear that he was open to it but perhaps at a different platform.

"Why not? I am open to rejoining. Parties don't matter. I want to serve the people at some stage and make a difference," Vijender told Republic TV in an exclusive chat.

Vijender was also quick and prompt to react on ICJ's verdict on Kulbhushan Jadhav. "Its a victory for India (read Indian govt), Its your victory, Its my Victory."

Donning different roles and executing them to perfection and even taking defeat graciously in a "Bazigaar style" has been the hallmark of India's greatest ever boxer Vijender Singh.

Having won his 11th straight pro boxing bout, Vijender now aims at World Pro Boxing title next year.

He is also keeping Olympic option and will train to make the qualifications as well.

If there is any perfect blend of a great sportsperson and a mega Sportstar, Vijender Singh could fit in as a perfect example. And when this diminutive and versatile boxer says he is open to rejoining politics after winning World Title in Pro Boxing albeit in a different platform you just sit up and take notice.
