Summerslam is one of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)'s biggest and the most important pay-per-views. It is arguably at par with the Royal Rumble and Survivor Series after  Wrestlemania which is considered as the grandest stage of them all. Known as the "The Biggest Party of the Summer," this year's event will be held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on August 11, 2019. This will also be the second time when Summerslam will be held in Canada. The last time when it was held in 2004, history was made as Randy Orton became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion after defeating the late Chris Benoit.

This will be the 32nd edition of Summerslam and it has given a lot of memorable moments for the fans. However, there were a few moments which were needless and could have been avoided for good. So without any further ado, let's take a look at some of the bizarre moments of the biggest party of the summer.

3. Eddie Guerrero Vs Rey Mysterio ( Summerslam 2005):

In this contest the two old and real-life friends locked horns against each other. Sadly, this was Guerrero's final Summerslam as he passed away in November that year. Meanwhile, the late superstar had become an outstanding heel in the same year as he and Mysterio were involved in a huge rivalry. Nonetheless, things got personal when WWE decided to take this rivalry to the next step. What really happened was at an edition of Smackdown, Eddie had revealed that he was the father of Rey Mysterio's son  Dominick which created more rift in their rivalry. Therefore, it was finally decided that the matter would be settled at Summerslam where both the athletes would compete in a ladder match and the winner will get the custody of Dominick.

2. Undertaker Vs Underfaker (Summerslam 1994):

In case if you are confused with the word 'Underfaker', then you better not be because this is exactly what had happened back in 1994. It so happened that when the 'Dead Man' was out of action for a few months, a character which appeared quite similar to the 'Phenom' made an impact. Surprisingly, he was managed by 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase instead of Paul Bearer. An irate Bearer had claimed that the Undertaker was an imposter and that the real Undertaker will show up at Summerslam and that is exactly what happened. When the Phenom made his return and stood in the ring face-to-face with his imposter, the fake Undertaker looked shorter. The debate was finally settled when the Underfaker was put to rest with a Tombstone Piledriver by the Dead Man himself. Unfortunately, there was no follow-up on this storyline thereafter as this feud was supposedly made to look irrelevant as well.

1. Shawn Micheals vs Hulk Hogan (Summerslam 2005)

Without a doubt, this finds the top spot in the Summerslam's most bizarre moments. Hang on. You might wonder how could this be a bizarre moment which involved two legendary superstars in a dream match that the fans had eagerly anticipated. Well, the answer is simple. Shawn Michaels had made a complete mess of it.

Still confused? Then let's understand what had actually happened. 'The Heartbreak Kid' was overselling all the moves. Whenever HBK was hit or got tossed by Hogan, he was seen acting in a strange way by rolling over or showing unnecessary athleticism which was uncalled for.

Here are a few videos of their match:
