Asian Games 2022: Neeraj Chopra bags historic gold in Javelin, Kishore Jena takes silver

Neeraj Chopra has won the gold medal in the men's javelin event at the ongoing Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou, China. Chopra secured the top honour with a throw of 88.88m, which came in his fourth official attempt. The Tokyo Olympics gold medalist started the event with a massive throw but due to some technical issue, it couldn't be recorded and Chopra had to re-attempt his throw. Meanwhile, Kishore Jena of India bagged the silver medal with a throw of 87.54m.
