Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Shun Yamaguchi said that not getting a good result today, shows "the level I'm at right now" during an online post-game press conference on Sunday.

Yamaguchi blew a save and took the loss in his major league debut on Sunday when he gave up a two-run triple to the Tampa Bay Rays Kevin Kiermaier in the bottom of the tenth inning for a 6-5 walk-off victory.

The Jays took a 5-4 lead in the top of the tenth inning then handed the ball to the Japanese righthander to close out the game.

With a runner already placed on second due to the new extra innings rules this year in MLB, Yamaguchi walked the next batter then gave up Kiermaier's winning hit in a forgettable debut for the former Yomiuri Giants star.
