Nottingham Forest coach Sabri Lamouchi said on Wednesday that he disagrees with resuming the football season playing in empty stadiums, and that players' well-being should be the priority in an eventual restart of European football - after national leagues and international tournaments were suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking from his house in Aix-en-Provence, France, Lamouchi also suggested that football authorities should take advantage of the hiatus to review football's calendar well before the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which is scheduled to take place between November and December that year.

Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis tested positive for COVID-19 on 10th March.

Two weeks later, Marinakis announced on the club's website that he had fully recovered from the disease.
