Ice-cool Collin Morikawa adds WGC-Workday chamionship to PGA Title

PGA champion Collin Morikawa shook off an early mistake and played a steady hand on a Concession golf course known for its ability to cause calamity, to close the WGC-Workday championship with a 3-under par 69 and a three-shot victory, his 4th on the PGA Tour.

PGA champion Collin Morikawa shook off an early mistake and played a steady hand on a Concession golf course known for its ability to cause calamity, to close the WGC-Workday championship with a 3-under par 69 and a three-shot victory, his 4th on the PGA Tour.

Morikawa, who became the only player other than Tiger Woods to win a major and a WGC event under the age of 25, finished on 18-under par, comfortably clear of Brooks Koepka, Billy Horschel and Viktor Hovland, who shared second place on 15-under.

Scottie Scheffler was a furhter shot back at 14-under in fifth and there was a top ten finish for Rory McIlroy, who concluded his tournament on 12-under, alongside Webb Simpson and Louis Oosthuizen in a tie for 6th.
