Michael Schumacher regains consciousness after stem cell therapy?

The Formula 1 Star Michael Schumacher had to undergo stem cell therapy in a Paris and has regained consciousness revealed an anonymous nurse treating him.

Former Formula 1 star Michael Schumacher had to undergo stem cell therapy in a Paris hospital and has reportedly regained consciousness. An anonymous nurse revealed the details of his health to a local news agency assuring that the F1 champ is now conscious and is in her service. Michael Schumacher has to now go through anti-inflammatory stem cell perfusion performed by a famous cardiovascular surgeon Philippe Menasché. Schumacher met with a terrible accident in the year 2013 while skiing at the French Alps. He suffered a severe brain injury in the accident and is being treated ever since.

The hospital where Schumacher is reportedly receiving treatment, as well as the family of Michael Schumacher, did not give any official statement regarding the health of the 7 time Formula One world champion. The hospital earlier too refused to comment on it citing the privacy of the patient. The family has maintained strictness over the privacy of Schumacher since long. There were reports a few years ago that Schumacher has been bedridden and all the treatments are being done to get him back to normal. The nurse who revealed details of his consciousness preferred being unnamed due to secrecy over the treatment. The family in January released an official statement saying he is in the best of the hands.

Michael Schumacher's legacy

The 50-year-old Formula One legend remains one of the world's favourite racers of all time. He is considered the most successful racers in F1 and has won a lot of titles. He made his Formula One debut in the Belgian Grand Prix for the Jordan-Ford team. Since his debut, he did not look back and went on to win more and more races like first 'Driver's Championship', Spanish Grand Prix and many more over the years. He was noted for his talent to produce fast laps at a crucial moment of any race by pushing his car to the maximum. He retired from Ferrari by the end of the 2006 season. He, later on, acted as an advisor to Ferrari. He returned from his retirement now with Mercedes in the year 2010 and continued with his racing till the year 2012. Schumacher announced his second term retirement in October 2012. Mercedes replaced the German star with Lewis Hamilton for the 2013 season. Michael Schumacher in his career was honoured many times for his contribution to sports. The unfortunate skiing accident that occurred on December 29 of 2013, took away hopes of his billions of fans who wished to see a third term in his career.  Wishes for his speedy recovery have been pouring in from all corners of the world.
