Los Angeles Lakers beat Dallas Mavericks 119-110 in an overtime encounter on Saturday. LeBron James scored season-high 39 points with 16 assists and 12 rebounds. Anthony Davis added 31 points and eight rebounds. Danny Green and Avery Bradley scored 14 and 11 points respectively. Kyle Kuzma made his debut for the Lakers with nine points in 19 minutes.

Maverick's Luka Doncic finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds and a career-high 15 assists. This was Doncic's tenth triple-double, which extended his record for triple-doubles for players under 21. James is fifth on the list. Kristaps Porzingis finished the game with 16 points and nine boards.

NBA 2019-20: Dallas Mavericks vs LA Lakers match report

Due to foul trouble, Mavericks were without Doncic and Porzingis for almost a quarter in the first half. Yet, they extended their nine-point lead to eleven points. Q2 ended with the Mavericks having a 58-48 lead over the Lakers. After halftime, Lakers had a 10-0 run, which Mavericks restored. Doncic scored his triple-double in Q3, which helped Mavericks recover nine points of their ten points halftime lead. Anthony Davis started overtime by scoring back-to-back dunks. James then converted the three-point play on a layup and gained the Lakers a 110-103 lead. Doncic's five points helped Mavericks get closer, but James' three-pointer gave Lakers the lead. Green scored the last point of the match as Lakers won by nine points.
