The Phoenix Suns beat this season's undefeated team Philadelphia 76ers 114-109 on Monday evening. The match took place at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. This is the Suns' third consecutive victory. Devin Booker scored a game-high 40 points and became the youngest player to reach 6000 points. The guard finished 15-of-19 from the field which included 3-of-4 from three-point range, and 7-of-7 on free throws. Ricky Rubio added 21 points and 10 assists.
Al Horford scored 32 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the Sixers. It also includes 5 three-pointers. Horford shot 13-of-20 from the field. Tobias Harris scored 24 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists. Furkan Korkmaz added 20 points as well.
Horford shot 6-of-7 from the field in the first two quarters. This included 3-of-4 from the three-point range. His three-pointer at the end of Q2 gave the Sixers a 61-55 advantage before halftime. In Q4, Phoenix had a 100-93 lead, but Al Horford tied the score at 100 with a one-handed dunk. Back-to-back points were scored till Booker and Kelly Oubre Jr. scored crucial points and gave the Suns a good lead. Joel Embiid served the second game of his suspension after his fight with Minnesota's Karl Anthony Towns. He will return to play against Utah Jazz on Thursday, giving the Sixers a much-needed boost.
