PKL: Haryana Steelers vs Telugu Titans match result, highlights

Haryana Steelers won their last home game against Telugu Titans by 52-32 at the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex in Panchkula on Friday. Vikash Kandola was the star for the Steelers as he secured 19 raid points for his team. Ravi Kumar also supported by scoring seven points in the match. Haryana Steelers are having a great season as they are currently resting at the third spot of the table with 70 points. They have played 21 matches this season and have lost only seven matches. They won 13 games while one ended in a draw. Telugu Titans, on the other hand, are second to last in the points table with 40 points.

Both teams started equally but Hayana Steelers soon picked up the pace. A tackle from Ravi Kumar got the ball rolling for the winners. Haryana’s star raiders Vinay and Vikash then brought some points for their team. Soon Vinay picked his 100th raid point of this season. Both the raiders and defenders continued to collect points and it was obvious that the team has upped their ante. Approaching half-time, Vikash took 16 more points for his team and titans were all-out for the second time. Because of this, Vikash picked his 400th raid points in Pro Kabaddi League.

Later, Prashanth Kumar Rai also joined Vikash and completed 400 points overall. By the end of the first period, Steelers had an 18-point lead, the final score of the match by the first period was 30-12.  Just two minutes in the second half, the Titans were all-out again. Tin Phonchoo and few others also go an opportunity to shine and help the home team win the match 52-32.   Haryana Steelers will next face U Mumba on October 10, 2019, Thursday.
