PKL: Top five raiders in the history of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League

Since its launch in 2014, PKL has witnessed a variety of players establish their talent. From Anup Kumar to Joginder Narwal, players have proved their prowess on the mat multiple times. This year, the Pro Kabaddi League is in its seventh season. As the playoffs for PKL 2019 are fast approaching, let us take a look at the top five PKL raiders of all time.

Top five raiders in the history of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 

1. Pardeep Narwal

Unsurprisingly, Pardeep record-breaker Narwal tops this list with 1101 raid points. Becoming the highest point-scorer for his debut season with Patna Pirates, this young talent from Haryana took the kabaddi world by storm. His eight-point raid against Haryana Steelers in season 5 is still clearly etched in everyone’s memories. For PKL 2019, Pardeep has a total of 243 points.

2. Rahul Chaudhari

With 942 raid points, Rahul Raid Machine Chaudhari is placed second on this table. As quick as a fox, this star raider is known to change the game around single-handedly. In season 4, Chaudhari became the first raider to cross the 400-point mark. This PKL season, Chaudhari ranks ninth with 117 raid points.

3. Deepak Niwas Hooda

Currently the captain of Jaipur Pink Panthers, Deepak Hooda ranks third with 856 raid points to his name. In PKL season 6, Hooda was the most successful all-rounder with 208 total points to his name. He is known for his flawless execution of the running hand touch. As per the PKL season 7 rankings, Hooda has scored 146 raid points.

4. Ajay Thakur

The hero of India’s 2016 Kabaddi World Cup victory, Ajay Iceman Thakur is placed fourth on this list of all-time raid point scorers. Thakur has scored a total of 790 raid points throughout PKL history. His signature move is the spectacular frog jump. For the current PKL season, Thakur has earned a total of 58 points.

5. Maninder Singh

Maninder Singh is ranked fifth on this list with his total of 718 raid points. Scoring most raid points for Jaipur Pink Panthers in his PKL season 1, Maninder has only enhanced his performance throughout the years. Currently, he is the captain of Bengal Warriors. Maninder has scored 192 raid points in PKL season 7.
