UFC: Conor McGregor gets attacked in Khabib Nurmagomedov's Russia

UFC: An angry Dagestani fan threw a water bottle at Conor McGregor in the recent press meet in Moscow. Know more about the incident and McGregor's take.

Conor McGregor has been attacked by a Russian man during his recent media interactions in Moscow. Conor McGregor flew off to Moscow and announced his much-awaited UFC return. According to the former Double Champ, he is eyeing January 18 as the beginning of his season and he will fight in Las Vegas. However, McGregor did not lose the opportunity to take a dig at lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and kept on with the verbal beef. In the meantime, an upset fan allegedly threw a water bottle towards the Irish Superstar.

UFC: Attack on Conor McGregor

During the press meet, an angry man yelled at Conor McGregor for insulting Dagestani people. “Why cowards? My father? What did he do to you? My bother, what did he do to you?" shouted the angry Dagestani before aiming a water bottle towards him. On Thursday, McGregor said that he would only visit Dagestan to take a sh*t and the Dagestani fan needed answers. However, Mr Notorious was saved by the security and he escaped injury. Conor McGregor has taken a dig at the entire Dagestani population during his beef with Khabib Nurmagomedov and it is pretty clear that Dagestani people have started hating him for it.

UFC: Conor McGregor infamous media interactions

This is not the first time something like this has happened at a Conor McGregor media interaction. McGregor is known for his loud mouth and he has always gathered a lot of attention for formulating controversies at media events. Earlier during his fight against Nate Diaz, both Conor and Diaz went into a feud and Conor was spotted throwing water bottle towards Diaz. Well, Diaz is currently lined up for UFC 244 and Khabib will face Tony next. In the meantime, bottle feud at media interactions and Conor McGregor remains constant.
