UFC: Cris Cyborg wants to fight Amanda Nunes in a cross-promotion fight

Cris Cyborg is no longer in UFC but she still has the itch to run it back with Amanda Nunes in a classic Bellator-UFC cross-promotion re-match. In the first encounter at UFC 232 main-event, Cris Cyborg entered the octagon with an undefeated streak of more than 13 years. She was also gaining the upper hand in terms of ‘fans’ favourite’  but to everyone’s shock, Amanda Nunes knocked her cold in the very first round. It was a historic battle for the entire women’s MMA division when two Brazilian Superstars clashed against each other and Amanda Nunes became the first woman in UFC to hold two belts simultaneously.

UFC-Bellator: Cris Cyborg wants to fight Amanda Nunes

In a recent interview with an American media portal, Cris Cyborg said that she still wants to face Nunes in a rematch despite being signed with Bellator.  Cyborg won her last fight at UFC 240 against Felici Spencer and left the promotion for Bellator MMA. According to Cris Cyborg, before signing with Bellator, the first thing she asked Scott (Bellator President) is the possibility of a rematch with Amanda Nunes in a cross-promotion fight with UFC and Cyborg believes that it can happen. The Brazilian will make her Bellator debut against 145lb Bellator Champion Julia Budd at Bellator 260 on January 25 and if she wins, Cyborg will add the Bellator title beside her name along with UFC and Strikeforce titles.

UFC News: Amanda Nunes

After defeating Holly Holm, the Women’s Double Champ is heading towards UFC 245 with a 9-fight win streak against Germaine de Randamie. Brazilian Amanda Nunes has defeated major veteran UFC Champions in her career which includes Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, Cris Cyborg, Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko (2x) among others and she is yet to give her thoughts on fighting former rival Cris Cyborg in a Bellator-UFC cross-promotion fight.
