UFC on ESPN 6 put down a massive show after some of the best possible matchups which brought incredible outputs for the fans and entire MMA community. Dominick Reyes continued his clean sheet by knocking out the middleweight veteran Chris Weidman in the main-event fight. Weidman came up to the lightweight division for the bout but faced a humiliating loss against Reyes inside the TD Garden, Boston. The co-main event between Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens also lived up to the hype and it seems that Dana White has really made his fans happy by setting up the re-match immediately after a controversial end at Fight Night 159. However, the fight with Greg Hardy did upset a lot of fans. Hardy got his victory against Ben Sosoli but his usage of inhaler cost him the victory. UFC ruled out the match since inhaler use during the match is not permitted and the match ended up with no result.

Despite a no-contest, UFC on ESPN 6 was a great card with fights like Lauzon vs Pearce and Maycee Barber vs Robertson. Jonathan Pearce was confident about winning on his UFC debut but Lauzon gave him a taste of his seniority and knocked out Pearce in the very first round. Maycee Barber also made a great UFC comeback against Robertson and is eyeing up the strawweight champion Zhang Weili next after a knockout win at latest UFC on ESPN 6.
